·         Wider choice of shops

·         More proper shops – less charity shops and hairdressers

·         More events in the town at weekend to encourage people to visit

·         Less take-away’s more specialist shops CD’s etc

·         CD’s DVDs hire. Toys.  Replacement for Woolworths.

·         Market Hill works.  Revamp Broadway and White Hart lane to embrace shops and museum.

·         Good bus links to round town – Stagecoach/Whippet.  Like the shops.

·         Too many closed shops.  Too many hairdressers.  Need more specialist shops.

·         Rent/Rates too high for shops to continue trading and remain in St Ives

·         Specialist shops – toys, phones

·         Bring back niche shops

·         Love to caper and walk by the river.  Sad about shops closing.  Need furniture shops.

·         Want the Riverside festival back or other summer events.

·         Walking into town, buy paper, have a coffee, meet friends for lunch, walk in the meadow, nice restaurant in the evening and then play in a music gig in the evening.
